How much time do I have to commit?
Paid Networkers must commit a minimum of 30 minutes of their time per month. This 30 minutes will be broken into 2 X 15 minute calls with Networkees who have read your bio and are interested with speaking to you. If a Networker wishes to contribute more of their time, please indicate in the form above.

How will I get paid?
Once your 4 (15 minute) monthly calls are complete, an e-transfer will be sent to the email you provided on your application form. If required, a separate email will be sent containing the password.
If you only had 1 call scheduled/month, you will get paid $10.If you only had 2 calls scheduled/month, you will get paid $20.
If you only had 3 calls scheduled/month, you will get paid $30.

What if I can't make the scheduled call?
Calls will be scheduled based on the availability that you provide in the form above. If something comes up and you're unable to attend, please reach out to the networkee on your invite to reschedule. You must reschedule within 7 days of the original meeting to avoid a 25% fee.
You can reschedule a call up to two times each month, but you can only reschedule a call with a specific networkee once. If you reschedule more than two times in a month, a 25% fee will be deducted from your monthly payment. -
What if the Networkee misses the call?
Networkees are able to reschedule a call with you once, but must give you at least 2 hours notice. If they do not show to the rescheduled call, they will have to rebook next month or leverage another monthly credit. You will still be paid for the call.

What if I want to be a Networker for more than 1 month? What if you decide to stop?
Networkers begin with a one-month commitment, which requires just one hour of your time. After this initial month, you will automatically join the next month's networking cohort. If you prefer not to continue, just send us an email and we will remove you from the list.

What is expected of me as a Networker?
Be present, answer networkees' questions, and offer advice if asked. These job seekers are looking for a competitive edge. If you’re impressed or build a rapport over multiple calls, you’re welcome—but not expected—to refer them for roles at your organization.

Are Networkers considered Employees of WYK?
No. Under Canadian law, networkers are considered independent contractors/gig workers and not employees.

What if my availability changes?
We get that things come up! If you need to reschedule, please contact the email of the networkee on your invitation. Networkers are kindly asked to reschedule within 7 days of the original meeting! If you need to change your listed availability, please contact info@whoyouknow.ca.

What if I no longer want to be a Networker?
If you no longer want to be a paid Networker, simply email info@whoyouknow.ca & we'll remove you from our Networker catalog.
